Anyone - I can't get my system to recognize the CD. It's connected to the IDE2 slot as master, altho it's not recognized in the system set-up at all (maybe this detection is only for HD's?). Anyway, when I run the Microsoft bootdisk I eventually see these lines..

A:\REM [CD-ROM DRIVE]
a:\MSCDEX.EXE /D:OEMCDOO1 /L:Z
CDR101: Not Reading Drive Z

THen I abort and the next line is a Z: prompt.

I've checked the cables which appear to be connected correctly...one end in the IDE2 slot and other end in the CD, pin orientation appears correct...so I'm stumped. (The CD is getting power.) Help appreciated. Thanks.

Dave

Glad you're pleased with the In-Winn FT. As we discussed in your private messages, another advantage to the FT over the mid-T is its removable top and side panels. I agree 100% about the ease of messing around inside there with its extra space.
