(Nasdaq NMS:THQI - news) Friday announced that it has been honored as 1998 Multimedia Company of the Year by the Software Council of Southern California (SCSC). Brian J. Farrell, president and CEO, THQ, accepted the award during the council's fifth annual Southern California Software Industry Awards Program Oct. 15 at the Century Plaza Hotel in Los Angeles.
