Payments being delayed after the Settlement Date? That certainly doesn't sound good. I don't think that's allowable under T+3 rules I'm familiar with. What firm might that be?

There's insurance for up to $25 million or more for Securities, but only $100,000 for Cash. Sounds like 1987. Which firms went under back then... was it Bache?

Trey, on one of the visits to the floor that CNBC makes, I recall the trader mentioning that the main worry overhanging the market was something in the woodwork. He then referenced a rumour about an 'electronic trading firm'. This was the day before yesterday I believe. I'm sure somebody else must recall this, though nothing more was said, and at the time I thought it strange that such a specific item should be mentioned.

Good luck all

Stephen
