GM, look at how blatantly negative that site is.....people like that deserve to get crushed.....you can take one look at that site and see right through their agenda, IMHO.

Fleck deserves to go down on flames. Why anyone is shocked that the fed eased again is beyond me. It could only be surprising that it was now and not in 3 weeks. Fleck should save himself by putting every dime he has into a msft short tomorrow and holding it for about 3 years. Man, is it overpriced! ;>)

AG will really have control now, which IMO, is fantastic. It is pretty obvious that the rest of the panel prevented him from cutting earlier as he wished. Now they see he was right again.

Good night.

Gottfried,Bill Fleckenstein is furious about the Fed move today.
Sounds to me as if he lost some major money - although he doesn't
say so. I see that attitude in general on the threads. The shorts
hated the action and some even curse AG.

Looks to me that they need to learn one of the principles of investing-"follow the FED."<g>

Regarding AMAT, looking back to the R/S chart for 1996 the % was from 11-15% during Sept, then broke out from 15-27 in Oct., back down to 15% before going to 79 in Nov, hitting a high of 87% in Dec and then spiriling up to above 93 percent in January '97 where it stayed until May '97. Then the R/S peaked at 99 in around the middle of August before Amat began its decending pattern.

Following is a Chart for comparison 1996 with 1998 of IBD relative strengths with prices. Are we on the same or similar cycle?

Naturally, the above is only my opinions and the data which I have reviewed from the the Investors Business Daily . Readers are reminded the old saving, "caveat emptor (buyer/reader beware)."

What are your thoughts?
