I think the Fed rate will hit 4.5% or so, timing could vary a bit but it hardly matters. The trend is your friend and the trend is down. I doubt it'll go much lower than that, and as volatility subsides, the chicken littles will realize that the world isn't coming to an end. Then Greeny will raise it back again, since the American economic machine isn't as fragile as currently supposed. Lot of moving around just to stay in the same place, but that's what you have to do in a panic. Greeny played the same script in the wake of 87 crash. Flooded the market with liquidity for a few months, then immediately tightened up again.
