What is support going for these days.

Depends. Keep in mind, this is not a business app, but a 'suite', so do like they do in ?

$ 200 hr / $ 1000 US Day, it depends. Credit card 900 line, etc. Lots of choices. $ 30 incident etc.

Matter of fact, I believe that while support calls are chargable, Corel should take the break even attitude on support, and give it away for an extended period of time, have free days, 5 extra calls for people who register on their web site, or have them go through WWW support first, and only after that time, if they say that the web presented answers did NOT solve the problem, computer generate a call ID number, so they can speak to someone for free. In essence, if you blindly pick up the phone to speak to someone after your 3 free calls, you pay. If you search out an answer on their web site, (where you can show them new things to buy),then offer newsgroups like Lotus site, and knowledgebase, they have done their homework and they deserve free support.

You only call support if

1: The product has a bug
2: the manual sucks
3: something doesn't work like it should, ie: the interface sucks
4: an OS or PC related or hardware related problem
5: an idiot user.

Idiot users will not know how to get to the web site, so they pay.

Bye

MS is answering our calls without a fee. Corel will not help us when we call. This is disturbing.
