SGI Marketing Info -- the shape of things to come?

Here's some straight-talking take-no-prisoners response to the recent HP claims of superiority v. SGI

sgi.com

I like it. SGI kicks *ss with a real product in that market -- it's about time they start tooting their own horn.

Hopefully that's an example of future SGI marketing info. The kind that takes on Intergraph's "Faster than an Octane, starting a $1,295" when the product which is competitive (on a particular benchmark) with an Octane actually costs $10,000 or more -- and the $1,295 system has a 4MB 2D SVGA card. It's like advertising :

"Yugo's blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and Ferrari's, starting at $5,995"

put in enough blah, blah, blah and the reader thinks you've got Ferrari's for $6,000.

Time to respond to that as well!

Just my humble opinion,
