Mohan,
Hi!!

RE: DELL CHAIRMAN STAYS OPTIMISTIC ON PC SALES...

Hey....thanks so much for this...is it my imagination Mohan or is Michael just tearing off great pieces of info and smearing the word so every one is aware of what a "great" quarter this will be..?? I just spent around an hour reading in my latest "bible" and I can't imagine any other time when we appear to be this overwhelmed with positive news world wide...granted it should be hard to pick one single time in the last few years :o)...but, great googley moogley....Dell management has been throwing heat since the end of last qt...I have my own personal reason why they are doing this...but, I will reserve that for some other time...I would be interested in what you think...

Oh...I take exception with one paragraph in that awesome link you sent me...

<<Dell's predictions could easily be written off as self-serving in an industry where common stocks have been hammered this year by investors wary of a slowdown in sales. But Dell has an enviable record as an industry seer. He is the fourth-wealthiest man in corporate America; his company has posted revenue of $15.2 billion for the four quarters ended June 30 and its stock price tripled from $21 in January to $66 in September, before dropping back this month to about $55 a share.>>

The author could have made it very simple by just telling everyone that Michael tells the truth...

Best, kemble
