>>Is this with Drive Image or PM or Both????<<

Both. In Partition Magic the copy option was grayed out. Drive Image let me start the restore process but about 1 percent into the restore displayed an error message. Something about too many primary partitions on the drive.

I went back to Partition Magic and deleted a primary partition. Right after the deletion of the partition the copy partition option became available again.

The partitions I am talking about are primary partitions, not extended partitions. I do not think there is a limitation to extended partitions except the 26 drive letter limitation.

You have to backup a few steps and remove the NTFS partition first

The problem occurred on the free space that I created with Partition Magic at the beginning of the drive. I only created the NTFS partition after I had trouble trying to format FAT.

If you have a Soundblaster go ahead and install it before SP3.

Service Pack 3? Is that something I download from the Microsoft site? Is it a worthwhile upgrade?
