A few other notes from the conference call (from memory):

- Revenue increase was actually 102% YTY (prior append said 12%)
- Insiders bought 200,000 shares, along with the company buybacks taking 3-4 percent of shares off the market
- I was under the impression that the Pacific Rim deals reducing the
reliance on Siemens were unannounced deals that weren't final yet.
One analyst asked if these were also automotive, and Neal said
they were a range of different uses (and Neal listed but I didn't write them down)
- They indicated that they expect government funding of their research to partially dry up in future, which would mean more Cree-funded research and less Contract Revenues (on the order of a couple hundred thousand a quarter, I think).
- They gave the breakdown of product revenues as about 55 percent wafers (I guess including the uncut C3 crystals?) and 45 percent LEDs -- that breakdown surprised me -- I would have expected the majority to be LED sales
- They indicated that the company has been a buyer of C3 stock.
- Several analysts congratulated the company on the quarter
- Indicated the annual meeting Nov. 3 will be at the new facility

Very upbeat call -- with lots of facts and figures thrown out.
