You may recall me posting that hedge fund dumping on info I got that big down day. My broker got it from an analyst but didn't say whom. Also, Bernard made sense with the converts and limtex mentioned the hedgefund. Also,Where'd He Go? mentioned the market influence.

All, a combination of circumstances that probably caused the drop.

SW-

I wouldn't hold my breath waiting for a vendor financing agreement. Since the company is dealing with multiple suppliers for the PMP equipment they need to decide on a primary provider before we get vendor financing. IMO we won't get this until after the various vendors have field tested and proven their systems. My guess is we get vendor financing late 1st qtr.

Company is starting new marketing push soon and will be offering free basic local service as a come on (six months worth or so). This will be targeted at buildings that are "on net" and new customers will have to agree to take all phone services from wcii including long distance. Should still be profitable on a short term basis as customers will also still be paying for operator assistance and all the other bells and whistles and the ILEC will not be getting a piece of the action. I hope this also means we now have more hubs up and running - hard to be on net without the hubs.
