Hi Thomas, ---RATL dropped off this morning when word of my sale got out, but seems to have largely recovered for now. <G>

<<<< OFF TOPIC >>>>
"... give me a ticker you like these days..."
Thomas, I'm not buying anything today, but I like the oil service sector. There is a meeting of OPEC and other producers coming up at the end of the month. I will be watching for opportunities to buy looking ahead to the meeting on hopes of a commitment/statement(s) of resolve to further limit production. That and/or a cold winter should give the oil drillers and service companies a boost. If Asian recovery seems to be on the horizon, the likelihood of increased oil consumption there will also brighten the future for these companies.

Could go the other way ---
1) Struggle for market share divides producers, leads to unrestrained pumping and continuation of oil glut.
2)Warm winter holds down oil consumption;
3)Asian recovery takes lots more time; Oil consumption there stays low.
4)Producers fail to keep commitments on existing cuts, or won't reduce production further if necessary; glut drags on.

I like VRC, SII, WFT, FLC, ESV, VTS

I hasten to add that I am no stock maven; Just a simple grrl with very little experience trying to figure this out as I go along.
(Anyone who invests based on anything I say should send me money if successful. If not successful, they're on their own.)

regards,

diana
