(NewsTraders) -- A group including John R. Simplot revealed selling 1.8 million Micron Technology (MU) common shares during the month of September, according to an amended Schedule 13D. The group sold the shares at prices ranging from $26.50 to $30.25 per share between 10/1/98 and 10/6/98. Simplot's current ownership in Micron Technology is not immediately clear. The group last reported holding 31,839,700 shares in a filing with the SEC on 7/29/98. Simplot revealed his intention to sell 1.8 million shares on October 6.
