You are simply AMAZING!!! I was listening to Tony Keyes's Y2Ktoday radio show (http://www.y2ktoday.com) and his partner was attending a Y2K conference in London.

At this conference KLM made this announcement about the 16,000 control chips (in an undisclosed number of embedded systems). I had been hearing rumours since last fall that most aircraft alledgedly didn't have "excessive" embedded problems/vulnerabilities, but this puts that "urban legend" to rest.

I wonder if the insurance companies will be so willing to provide coverage given this risk.

Thanks for posting the article. I hope this Y2K issue is only 1/2 as bad as I suspect. Then we'll get off lucky with only a mild global depression.
