Which one was that? I closed the last one. Too early. If I'd waited a couple of days I could have got out at minimal loss. It wiped out a chunk of the profits from the last sale (but it was for fewer shares than the last one). The same day I switched from short to long across my portfolio, liquidating puts in Aus and going long on US stocks. We hit a short-term bottom a day or two before and at this point that became obvious. So in the bottom line for October so far the losses on that second DELL short were not much. Much worse is my loss (in Australian Dollar terms) from the fall in the US dollar.
