It's quite interesting to watch the sentiment change from complete anxiety to irrational exuberance, all from an expected 1/4 point cut. The timing was the only surprising thing, people expected the Fed to act in Nov anyway.

Just keep buying Spider, Greenie da Weenie just wrapped a giant band-aid around the earth.

What a joke, he simply delayed the onslaught for a little while. The Fed can't save our stock market and it is screwing up our economy.

I still think anyone long stocks like AMZN has to be a nimble short term trader (Olu comes to my mind, or Jan ) - mainly because this is a bubble, period. AMZN stock price hangs on psychology and short squeezes. And I wouldn't call this market bullish either. At its best, there should be a retest of the low similar to 1990 bear market. If the investor pessimism peaks while DJIA holding 7400, maybe it is good to go long. But we could still get a enormous panic crash if Greenspan's skillful move fails.

market is bullish, lowering prime interest rate is making shorts in this sector run. people
on this thread tell me just last week market is bearish. i say no. i changed mind quickly. i
too first thought it was bearish. now i believe these drops only corrections. it was good
time to cover amzn short and i did. i look for more shares beliving it was still good
short. lucky for me i could find no shares. stock break 100 again today and market
indicators tell me this is very bullish market. best to be long amzn but best to box it i
think.

The market is bearish. Findamentals are not good. I am not boxing.

AMZN will fall.
