Hi Ann I am with Yaacov re: "go where the $ is". Read Stephen Pollans book "Die Broke". He claims there is no such thing as job security and you never know what is going to happen ,so point being ,since everyone works for the money,go for it and keep looking for new job. I have always told my kids that. One has to look after their own family first. I enjoy the imput on this thread. I have altered my portfolio and so far I'm doing ok. I really dont know how to research stks that well as I feel that there is always that unknown element that comes to surface after the fact ,good or bad so am just going for the quality stks as i can afford to buy them Tel stks I have had for a long time and this year they have turned out to be very defensive when all else goes down Good luck
