TO ALL! This is a bunch of BS. I think their pissed off because they can't keep the small investors in their pockets and tell them what to buy or sell.

Merrill Lynch & Co. plans to offer free access to its stock research on the Internet for a four-month period. Merrill vice chairman John Steffens revealed plans for the Internet test in an interview this week with The Wall Street Journal. Steffens has been critical of online investing, calling it "a serious threat to Americans' financial lives." But he said the firm's plans are consistent with his caution, saying that the Web venture is a limited project and that the firm's analyses, long term will be available only through brokers. "Research, plus a human being, is a better methodology than trying to do this on your own," he told the Journal. Merrill plans to put real-time, full-text reports from its analysts on the Web Nov. 2, the report said.

BIG DEAL! LOL! I think it's more of a threat to their financial lives
than ours. ALLEN:

JWK,

What a beautiful day here just a few feet short of heaven. I worked outside on our last job of the year on the west end of Aspen. We all were scurrying around trying to get this house buttoned up for the real estate agent party on Monday. This house is on a 60' x 105' lot and sells for 3.8 million. It is a beauty and the builder is just dying to move on to the next one. Lots of pressure on all to finish. I do appreciate your metaphor.

About 2:30 the snow rolled in as we were pounding the last board in on the fence. By the time we rolled up we could not see 50 feet and the flakes were an inch across. This will be a good ski year for Aspen. They started the snow machines about 2 P.M. I could hear the roar of them from the job.

I came home to many posts by lots of our associates on the thread and the tone seems to have shifted again to one of anticipation. Remember this all in a few days if it seems we don't have what you want happening. This company if for real and ready to rock. Naturally, jmho. But that opinion is well grounded. I truly, really, firmly believe if one is thinking about buying in, or purchasing more that Monday - Wednesday will be the last time at bargain basement prices. I got my hands on some ducats today and will take the opportunity.

Looking forward to next three weeks.

PATIENT STILL
