STUMBLING
A) Are you the one that stumbled over your 80 lb. dog?
B) We have a l0 lb. dog and I stumble over her every once in awhile.
C) Stumbling is part of life.
-A child stumbles continually in the process of learning to walk
-Who hasn't stumbled thinking that had one more step to descend
-My son was running across a college campus, stumbled, broke an
ankle so severely, he ended up in the hospital for a couple of days
-I stumbled in the snow in our backyard years ago and severely
injured my shoulder
-My mother stumbled in her latter years and broke a hip
D) Application
To stumble is human, but it is the natural thing to get back up---
-if we can, and if we can't it is comforting to know that Jesus
is there with outstretched hand to pick us back up if we'll but
reach out to him.

"To him that thinks he stands, take heed lest you fall."
