Paul,

I agree, I don't think Deswell will actually buy back the full 500,000 shares, which is 10% of the outstanding shares and about 25% of the public float. The announcement will act as a floor and should prevent more of the wild downward swings we've had recently.

Paul, Dennis, all

We will probably see some profit taking, but IMO the dividend alone should prop up at 10 or higher.

They may not get any shares bought, but it's nice to know the support is there.

I particularly liked the "management's confidence in the long term performance". No 'cautious optimism in this PR. -G-

I guess I see the logic of using limits on thinly traded stocks,
but on Deswell in the 6's? Well, the we know they watch this board, and given Ron's work in contacting the company and building a rapport, I think that we can indeed take some of the credit for this announcement, no matter what comes of it.

Great job, all. Actually I loaded up so much down in the 6 range that I'm getting awfully heavy in Deswell now that it's up 50% from there.

Good investing,
Mike
