Couldn't begin to tell you. NOK.A is down too, so it may be due to the tepid European reaction to the rate cut -- the U.S. market may have priced in too big a gain yesterday. Otherwise, I'm at a loss to explain it.

Suggest that perhaps just perhaps the current decline may reflect (at least in part) the fact the Ericsson is the only major telecom equip manufacturer has not licensed Qualcomm's CDMA and therefore is unable to participate in the fastest growing wireless technology being built out around the world. Also perhaps it has begun to sink in the WCDMA is dead on arrival without use of Qualcomm's IPR's which in turn depend on backward compatibility to the current installed GSM and CDMA One. Chaz
