1. If the next rev of Banshee is OEM at board level would you expect it to
incorporate embedded memory, like a NeoMagic chip you'd find in 70% of

3dfx has stated that embedded memory (like pixelsquirt) aren't the way to go, so no. Banshee is intended to be a single chip solution with motherboards as one of the target markets, so definitely yes.

2. When TDFX wins the patent infringement action against NVidia, would you
expect monetary judgement to be on a "chips sold" basis ?
Reasonably good sales of TNT would equate to larger awards in this scenario.


Yes, and if they really made 80M last quarter the money might be into the millions. The real question is I wonder if they will go for an injunction!
