Ron, The critics? Liars, busy figuring how they'll lay-off their losses on the U.S. taxpayer, again. And how long it will take. The Chair of the Senate Banking and Finance Committee really ripped into Greenspan a few days back with that very sentiment. Appeared he would like to have had Trader Bob in attendance also, as he raked the Treasury Department over the coals with equal gusto.

Hong Kong and the Chinese, with all of the problems they continue to have, stand head and shoulders above them all. And the problems continue to worsen. Too, some of the critics are reportedly near collapse. Their facilitators bellied-up to the Fed's discount window this week for nearly US$520 million, as of Thursday. That's twice what normal weekly lending has been.

Once again, who's ultimately responsible for all that money?
