Rodgers founded Cyrix. Chose to go the "process more instructions per clock cycle" route and has been having to the strum the "PR" guitar ever since. The MediaGX was also his baby. As far as the PR rating I thought that was the brainchild of Steve Towback but I could be wrong. At this point what does it matter...AMD is running K6s at 400Mhz and Intel, Pentium IIs at 450Mhz, while 250Mhz/PR333 is about the best that NSM can do and they never seem to be able to get close to introducing the MXi.
