Just received the i1000. The speakerphone is awesome. Phone cost $299 and my wife and I each signed up for the $75/mo plan which includes 500 digital minutes, unlimited DC, caller ID, call waiting, and something else!

I've been using the i360 for about a year and a half now. Never used DC, just bought it for no roaming charges and flat rate long distance since I travel everywhere.

I think somebody else mentioned it but the i1000 has better clarity and connects to the system much quicker. I've been waiting for the i1000 size...I can see where this could of had an impact on the 3Q subscriber number. Size and weight of this phone is just what the white collar mkt was looking for!

The wife was spending $120/month on a old Cellular One contract that I'm finally glad is over. Trying to cancel a Cellular One contract is truly a precision game. These guys won't let you cancel until you're within 30 days of contract expiration and if you miss it, it can rollover for another two years. Give me a friggin break!

Anyway, I see this as a great savings even though my wife could get a PCS phone with more minutes and for less price. Now she and the kids can reach me directly anytime I'm at home (Chicago) or by sending me a cute text message from the home PC when I'm traveling.

Is life getting great or what??
