Oh be serious. We are talking about what LED to WWII, not WWII itself. If you go back and read the subsequent discussions regarding the JLA classic, you will discover that everyone agrees there was a "decline in moral order" as you say. But that was not the cause of fascism initially... it was severe economic conditions coupled with some political impositions placed upon Germany post-WWI. At least, the books that I have read indicated this to be true. As far as the slaughter of the Jews in Europe, even that had economic motivations initially. To even imply that some guy in power, be it Hitler or whoever, had some sexual indiscretions (ala Clintons "decline in morals") and that led to WWII is just insulting, in the same way that these comparisons of Caligula to Clinton are.
