Maybe not. XYLN has been winning many switch contracts away from the big boys. MIS guys are able to see who has the real savvy personnel and gear and who doesn't. If CIEN has the right people to push the product they will do just fine. I still believe that LU stole their tech and sabotaged the deal with that last minute memo. TLAB and CIEN will work together in the future - it is inevitable. They may merge yet. TLAB's price is still 4 to 5X that of CIEN. PE is about 3x on a trailing basis.

I've accumulated TLAB since 1988, and quite honestly, would like to see the merger happen at the best time for both companies. It's a GREAT FIT!
