OT Libertarian & Govt. RE: "Who has that kind of power?" Locally we are manipulated by Intel/Microsoft or your favorite bank or fraternal organizations. The fact that we have a strong, stable central government is why this manipulation does not get out of hand. That's not say it doesn't have its flaws and problems but there is some degree of checks and balances. Go Vote! Travel overseas and you will find that there is always someone to manipulate with guns and jails. It is often not the government. I would hate to see the legitimate government reduced in power and authority to the point that rump cults like the Republic of Texas begin deciding what's best for me. TP (Who thinks this soapbox looks too much like a ledge)
