Rambus? This is only the beginning. We have an active thread on SI- much good info on the company.

It is going to be the new DRAM standard and some peg earnings several years out @5/share and possibly a share price of $250, I know this sounds outlandish, but study the compnay and it's story- it is a lay up from here, IMHO!

Like you, I've been watching the Rambus story and haven't done anything. Sure looks interesting, but don't know the details except they are surely going to get Intel's blessing. Still, other DRAM makers are going to go down screaming. They don't want to pay royalties for anothers design.

Micron and Intel will try to lead the way. This will force the others to get in line. Dell and Compaq say they'll have Rambus memory available in beginning 99.
