I disagree. brokers are not insured by the gov.t. They have private insurance. And they move more money than the banks. And they are insured for millions of dollars. When u bail out the banks, you are not only saving the govt from having to pay $100,000 per account but alos saving depositors with millions of dollars and the jobs of incompetents who then continue running the bank irresponsibily. In any case we disagree on this subject so we will leave it at that rather than beating a dead horse.
