James, if GE is a man of his word -- time will tell -- it may have been the most clever thing Brad has done in some time. ggg. Edit: let me add to the thanks to Murphy and Co., as well as to Medsker, for taking the time to make the concall arrangements. Unfortunately, I could not get on until near the end, but heard JMurph start to wax "marine-ic" again, and that was enough for me. LOL! On the other hand, it's a bit disconcerting to build up a mental image of folks on this thread, and then have their audio impression shatter that image! ggg. Ken

James, .. Making that info public sounded like a very bad idea to me... . Last I looked this was A PUBLIC COMPANY!!!!! . I don't know what this little cadre of select shareholder's conf call was all about, but as a shareholder I TAKE EXCEPTION to the [alleged fact] that the Company [apparently] held a public conference call with no announcement to the public or the shareholders. . No e.mail announcement to their internet database. No P/R newswire announcement. Nothing on the Web site home page. Not even a recording play-back of the call has been made available! . As a matter of fact this is SUPPOSED to be an officially announced QUIET PERIOD, so who'd be expecting a conf call anyway? . Colin
