At the risk of turning this thread into a Microsoft/Netscape-type discussion, this lawsuit
isn't about ethics. It's about competition, primarily about competition for good people at
this point.

William,

It is about ethics. AMZN could not develop a proper method for distribution in house. They are being accused of going out and stealing it. It is not competition. I seriously doubt Walmart views AMZN as a competitive thread. Let's not go to the rediculous. Notice Walmart does not have a problem with BKS or BGP or..etc.

'm sure there are ex-Wal-Mart people working in IS/logistics capacities at other
companies now besides Amazon. Wal-Mart was known as information-technology-driven
before this decade began.

AMZN recently hired this person and implimented this technology to try and survive. The great venture capitalists are being accused of the same crime. People that commit crimes are not ethical. You ought to go back to my post last spring about the lack of ethics at AMZN. It is starting to be more obvious now.

You stated ethics had no part in this company. "This is the stock market nothing more and nothing less." Guess what? Ethics does have a place in business.
