Well, I am still buying, but sometimes I just sell too soon. Then again, sometimes I sell too late. Then again, sometimes I buy too soon, then again, sometimes I buy too late.

For all the analysis, timing will always be the key. Charts do help plan entry and exit. I'm still not good at reentry at that lower price on a rebound.

Anyway, what now ?

I exited most of my positions (still holding JAII from 11 1/8 for an earnings play in a couple of weeks), because I am still not confident enough in this market for more than a day or two at a time. I am thinking that there is a local ceiling around where we are right now.
The last I checked, the world economy was not cured in the last two days, and there seem to be plenty of warnings going on out there.

Also, I am interested in any opinions about something I read (I think it was in Barrons) that the mutual funds need to book their losses by the end of October to offset any gains that otherwise would be distributed to investors in the funds.

I just get this feeling that some selling pressure is going to come back into play soon, whether that is a retest of lows or a drop within some trading range or whether I am just completely paranoid and idiotic I don't know.

But for all of you who are well invested as of today's close, take heart in that I have a nearly impeccable record of being out of my positions before they jump !
