What is really scarey in all this is the fact that a lot of people follow him, including professionals, (look at the price movements on PMCS after his comments @ 36 or so, Or even his short on PSFT @ 35, short NETA @ 50), so this is someone who has great buying/selling power and even has institutional followers. And his scarey articles at least twice mentioning melt downs, the last one was last week when the market was really hit hard. Actually I felt like a complete idiot for jumping in then while others who usually are much calmer and wiser than me were selling, (eg selling PSFT @ 18 1/2 and EMC @ 42).
I am under trade arrest after my dibacle and can only trade mutual funds now :> But I am up 20% and almost break even in them now. Just goes to show, no one knows anything unless they are controlling the market/stock and one way to do that is to make far ranging predictions as if they actually know what is going to happen, enough people fall for it and it does happen.
