Penni,

And there's Cat's In The Cradle, Cat-ch A Falling Star
and on and on.

Perhaps there can be some solace in knowing that Blue elected
to travel after the 105-degree drought had broken. I hope that
he finds his way back home soon.

My dad once had an unusual experience with a missing cat.
A neighbor told him the cat had been hit by a car and was dead
in the street. Dad dutifully retrieved and buried the remains,
only to be surprised a couple of days later when his cat showed
up alive and well. A case of not-so-positive identification of the
deceased cat. So there can be hope for awhile.
