Gary... all,

Deja vu! I thought I had some of this solved when I ran a new scan to create an updated "common.lst" a week or so ago.

Tonight, I'm getting "syntax" errors when I run the same scans I've been using. These come after several symbols have been "scanned". The two scans I've been using reliably for weeks, now show syntax errors. But, these come after the scans are running and well into the data file "input=common.lst"

Ideas surely appreciated. Ken

Are these virtual files? or metastock? if metastock do you have them listed for auto update? Do the directories update after download.

I know you aren't thinking that a scan will update by itself without having been run again. But are referring to directories which have been output from scan. if virtual, and present, they should update at end of unzip, if metastock, they would update if you had them in the list.
