Well, with daytrading, they know that most of the people who attempt it will fail, and they figure they have just that one shot to relieve you of your money, since, well, you get the idea.<g>

Len
major books on NT Workstation 4.0,
Thanks Len, I might as well get that one as well. I'll try Dave's shopping.com.

Boy, technical books are expensive.... prices of books on daytrading always make me gag..

Clarence

Seriously, books are cheap. If I save an hour because of a $50 book then its paid for it self. most all give far more than that. College Degrees and professional computer training and consulting are real expensive in comparsion. $1000 for 3 day computer class is not uncommon. I own and have read hundreds of computer books in the last 15 years. I generally buy and read coursely at least two a month. Mostly programming and digital logic archectecture. I think these types of books offer far more value than a lot of Trading books...

OT* Speaking of daytrading books, Clarence, I picked up the overpriced title The Electronic Day Trader from shopping.com for 50% off the $35 cover. Just got here yesterday, and have skimmed through the first two chapters--not sure how good it is yet. You're certainly right about trading books being overpriced.

BTW, Shopping.com charges $3.50 S/H first book, .90 each add'l book. I'm ordering in batches to save more $.
