Thomas, is there a company out there yet that sells all (or most of) the parts for hobbyist supercomputing? are ther sites that have plans for scalable machines that one can add a few processors to every month? is a 256 proc machine hard to configure and run with Linux, or should the timid wait a few months? is there support for multiple 1980X1024 displays? with bigTV starting to push bigdisplay product, cheap hirez is at hand.
i really think this party is going to get out into the streets after all.
vincent
