I think Sting Ray tried to point this out a few days ago, but I'll do it again. Your getting everyone pumped up wanting drill and assay results, when if you read the whole PR you see that they said they would issue a PR naming the drill company when the drilling begins and I haven't seen that PR, so I take it the drilling hasn't begun. OTC BB: IDCN Quote Drilling Program at Isaac's Harbour We have planned a 1000-meter drilling program at Isaac's Harbour. This historically documented site of the most prolific gold mine in Canadian history has prior production in the 1860's and during World War I which yielded an average 2-ounces (62-g) of gold per ton. This is high compared to what today is considered great production from Kirkland Lake, Timmins and other hot spots in Canada where they average one-half ounce per ton. Our claims run 120 acres and contain a 30-cm quartz vein with visible gold. Visible gold (VG) is very rare anywhere on earth. Most gold fields have no VG rather they have microscopic portions spread throughout the country rock or sands in the case of placer formations. The company has done trenching samples on several occasions, the latest being deeper cuts down to two or three meters in some cases. The assay samples we have published that have a, b, & c quantities are examples of deeper trenching cuts that were sacked at intervals to provide analysis with more discriminating value. Former mining in the 1860's produced over 39,000 ounces of gold from two primary ramps running into the earth following the anticline of the quartz vein. Water problems eventually halted the production. We plan to de-water the 15- degree ramps with power driven pumps and walk auger equipment down and produce high-grade, low tonnage ore for processing in nearby Nova Scotia mills. A flowsheet of production and milling will be developed after the drilling program and the planned bulk sample is taken. The drilling timetable will be fully implemented once the permits for drilling are issued. The drilling company has been decided on and they will move on site within a week of the permit being issued and our deposit for the work being placed in the bank drawing account. Since the property is all hard rock, right from the surface, no site preparation like bulldozing the overburden will be required. They will be able to setup the drilling rig and begin coring the first hole once the environmental containment controls are in place for the drilling lubrication fluids and the oil-spill threat from machinery. This will take only a few days. The first cores will go in for analysis as soon as they are logged and we will publish the results without delay. The purpose of this drilling program is to fine-tune our targets rather than to quantify the ore mass. It is believed that the two ramps end only 25 meters from an intersection with the main anticline of the quartz vein. Drilling at this target should provide valuable information for future plans. Quantification would require the coring of at least 100 holes on a property this size and depth costing at least $1.5 million. We can say that there is possible gold based on the large quantity of former production records of some 200,000 ounces. Add to that our certain results from new analysis and we have a potential gold mine. Reopening the site requires little construction work The collar of the portal needs to be rebuilt but no timber is needed down in the ramps as the walls are all hard rock structure. Occasional sections may require steel screening to be bolted into the wall to prevent some lose rock from falling. A complete plan is being formulated. The drilling company will be disclosed in a press release when the drilling program commences. Return to Property Home Page
