they are a home brew version of support and resistance. Can predict volatility when magnet trendlines cross. IE last wed had a SP500 magnet trendline crossover. Today was a Dow 30 magnet trendline crossover. Granted the market has been volatile for a while now so they need to be proven to be reliable predictors in a less uncertain environment.

Magnets themselves are horizontal S&R. Horizontal magnets must be fully tested before a stock or index is safe to resume its trend. If a stock runs through a magnet without fully testing it is likely to come back in the near future to "finish its business"

The magnet trendlines (sloping) are connections of magnet signal days highs and lows. Basically a magnet signal day is a convergence of buy signals from a series of indicators. Way to much to explain in a simple post as I have tried before to do. Caused more confusion than understanding. I am currently working on a magnet manual and will notify the 56 thread when it is ready for shipping. There will be a nominal charge for my time and labors.
