I'm sure Gingrich was doing a little politicking in his speach as other countries have kept up their responsibilities to the IMF without all the hoopla .
Through the years high interest rates meant inflation was here and had to be wrung out ,and gold would be up as well but now we have very little inflation and interest rates going down ,If these guys win the battle against both recesion and inflation ,and with lower int. rates its possible ,then any real bull in gold could be a long way out yet ,I keep thinking it wont happen unless there is a big crash in the US AND EUROPEAN ECONOMIES, But I dont know ...
