It's Official, Passport2 Multi-Player Games are Now Free, No Kidding

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

LOS ANGELES, Feb. 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Legacy Software(R) (Nasdaq: LGCY)
announced that its family network of multi-player games, at www.Passport2.com,
are now free. Launched approximately one year ago, more than 10,000 customers
have downloaded the five online games, which previously cost $4.95/month for
unlimited play. The games that are available are bridge, (both contract and
duplicate), backgammon, chess, Intelligentsia trivia, and Spell-O-Rama, the
first multi-player educational game on the internet.
"We are committed to growing the community of gameplayers who enjoy our
robust, traditional games. As long as the online gaming business remains so
volatile, we think our best strategy is to make gameplaying free and generate
revenue from advertising and co-marketing agreements, such as those we have in
place with AT&T WorldNet, Earthlink, and The New York Times on the Web."
The Passport2 Network is based on proprietary client server technology,
which allows up to 300 players per server to participate simultaneously via a
fast and dependable multiplayer computer network. It includes multiple types
of chat, as well as artificially intelligent robot players. Developed for
Windows95, Passport2 incorporates a modular approach that customizes and
distributes applications to individual servers. Individual technology modules
include: matchmaking services, chat services, membership system, inventory
control system, service logging/reporting, tournament system, and billing
service, all of which are available for licensing to third parties.

PR NewsWire Legacy Software Announces First Title in School Girls Series: Piggy in Numberland

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Piggy in Numberland

LOS ANGELES, July 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Legacy Software Inc.(R) (Nasdaq: LGCY)
today announced that it has signed an exclusive retail distribution contract
with software developer ThoughtMakers(TM) for Piggy in Numberland, a math game
for children aged 4-7. This is Legacy Software's first title in the newly
branded School Girls(TM) Series. The Company is known primarily as the
creator of RealPlay(TM) CD-ROMs, including the best selling Emergency Room and
D.A. Pursuit of Justice.
Piggy in Numberland was developed by ThoughtMakers, a team of
psychologists, artists and computer scientists committed to producing highly
educational, research-based interactive programs for children. Dr. Arthur
Woodward, Professor and Chair, Department of Psychology, UCLA, and the rest of
the ThoughtMakers team have created a delightful character, Piggy, whom a
child can control through a 3-D environment, encountering a variety of
engaging math activities. Piggy in Numberland is characterized by the careful
articulation of math concepts and the application of principles of attention,
motivation, and learning to software design.
"This is the perfect product with which to launch our School Girls(TM)
Series of CD-ROMs," commented Ariella Lehrer, President of Legacy Software.
"It is so important for girls to have an early positive experience with math
and to retain their initial enthusiasm for the subject. Piggy in Numberland
will launch girls on the path to success in math and, we believe, they will
love the Piggy character."
"Piggy is a rare product that combines high production values with
carefully sequenced math activities," said Dr. Arthur Woodward, Co-founder of
ThoughtMakers. "If a parent wants their child to learn math facts, there are
a number of products to choose from. But if an additional objective is the
understanding of key number concepts and building the basis for future math
mastery, then Piggy in Numberland clearly is in a class by itself."
Piggy in Numberland will be available in August, 1998 in a Windows95
format, for $29.99, through major software distributors.
