Donald: It tells me that the proverbial frog is happy in his jacuzzi even though the temperature has been rising since July 20th, 1998. It will take a lot of pain to cause the average investor to panic. The average investor, having been long the market for over 3 years, is nowhere near his pain threshold.

Well, I have to agree with that. And as usual another good post!

With retirement statements starting to hit the kitchen table this weekend, as expected, the Big Boys were not ready for John Q. Public to bail, yet! Heck, they want to sell that used car again! <g>

I will continue to keep my peepers opened wide diligently trying to spot the signals of the Big Boys intentions.

LG

This huge bounce (unexpected-by me anyway) from 7500, IMO, may be a very good op to unload some mutual funds that have bounced, too. Especially if one thinks things are going to get worse. I understand Acampora is calling for 8700-8800 now? Does the 25BP cut really cut it? JMO
