Yep, GS and the mighty AJC has been right on the mark for a long time. Just remember a broken clock is still correct twice a day.

You admit they have been on the mark for a long time but your analogy is that of a broken clock right twice a day. I really don't understand this. No matter what you think their forecast has been better than a broken clock. Hey, let's give them credit they deserve it for being right. They deserve the accolades.

The sad truth is they even fooled themselves into believing total BS by deciding to take GS public. Well, we all know what happened. Talk about missing the boat, they were not even close.

What you characterize as their "total BS" has made many people wealthy. When they go public they will make themselves even more wealthy. I say good for them this is America not Sweden! Their IPO should be a great success many people will be buying into this quality firm. "Talk about missing the boat..." Give me a break...Goldman Sachs is a complete success story...they just want to sell high like everyone else in this market. Profit maximization...what is wrong with that? Hint: Nothing!
