Ramsey - by mentioning ... By the way, would you like to join my campaign to build the new Padre Stadium - in Tulsa ?... you have opened the door for me to ask a baseball related question that has been on my mind ever since I heard the TV commentators say something during one of those San Diego Padres playoffs games.

Is the situation as follows - the newly renovated Qualcomm Stadium (to which Qualcomm contributed meaningful amounts of money (to fund the renovation) in return for the "naming" rights) is already "no good," and everyone is all set to try to get going on building a new stadium ?

Or, are they hoping to renovate the existing Qualcomm Stadium some more?

And, if they are really so silly as to want to build a new one, I assume Qualcomm still has the naming rights on the new one also (?)

Jon.

<<at least there is one less potential competitor for the handset market>>

Unless the speculation about Ericy (or Noka) as an Lu acquisition target should bear fruit. (There'd still be one less but more a matter of form vs. substance.)
