Further to the arguement for transport to the ABER site.
The Winspear dyke/pipe is 25 kilometers from the winter Lupin road. Aber's site is just 1.5 kilometers off the same road. I believe the distance between Winspear and Aber would be roughly 50 miles.
Aber has a %32 interest in the Winspear dyke. Aber and partner are planning to build a plant in the next two years.
Aber will need plenty of material to construct dikes to access their pipes. Aber could use some extra cash flow early in the project to finance the costs.
Winspear ore could be mined almost immediately form the NW Dyke and transported to the Aber site over the winters. As soon as the plant is completed they would have cash flow from some very rich ore. And they could use the tailings to construct their dikes.

This would be very good for both Aber and Winspear.

I believe Winspear's ore will fit in right at the top of the chart below. I'm almost certain that Aber would find time and make capacity available to run this stuff through the mill especially as they have the opportunity to plan for it in advance.

Does anyone have some information about the topography and grades that would be encountered between the Winspear site and Abers proposed plant? The only real limitation to the size of the loads that could be transported would be the % grade to be climbed and associated traction problems on ice. This would determine the kind of equipment that would be most economic.

I understand that DeBeers is looking at a site a short distance East of the Winspear Dyke and I'm sure they would be pleased to run the Winspear ore through their plant.
