Gersh, Re: Assumptions

I just wrote to a friend: Isn't it interesting how perspectives develop. If one bought near the recent lows, one is euphoric. If one bought near the July highs, one is probably still depressed. If one was short, when Mr. G made his surprise announcement, one is probably suicidal. Perspectives are interesting.

Not all are hung up with a 3-day switch over of their 401K funds. I have a friend that makes the decision on about a half million dollars each day at 3:45, his decision is effective at close of business that day.

Clearly, when we broke 505 on the OEX my perspective changed. But then, here we sit at a critical neckline of the OEX. Look how long it took for this to develop. I'm sure that I'm not the only person looking at this with interest. Not making a judgement, as there is no need to. The market will provide the signal; I simply follow.
