Weda Bay appoints director (Some news at least!) Weda Bay Minerals Inc WDA Shares issued 19,373,384 1999-03-25 close $0.53 Friday Mar 26 1999 Mr. Louis Clinton reports W.S. (Steve) Vaughan has been appointed a director of the company. Mr. Vaughan is a partner of the Toronto law firm of Aird & Berlis and the head of its Natural Resource Practice Group. Aird & Berlis and its predecessor firms have had a long history of involvement in the natural resource business, particularly in the mining, oil and gas and the geothermal industries. Mr. Vaughan is a director and a member of the executive committee of the Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada, a director of the Toronto branch of the Canadian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, was a member of the Thompson Committee on Junior Resource Financing in Ontario and one of the drafters of Ontario Securities Commission Policy 5.2.
