Gottfried, Big Bucks, Teri, John L. and All, Have the bears and bulls
noticed in the IBD, Friday Oct. 16, that the Elec. Semi Equip maker
have moved up from the rank of 193 three months ago, to 189 last
Friday, to 180 this Friday. Also, the Relative strength is only 2%
off the high in February of 70 now at 68%.

Note the IBD Relative Strength Chart which I chart using the data from
the IBD and the DW procedure.

You will have to scroll to the right since SI puts to many spaces
between columns. A's = October, B's = Nov, C's = Dec. So A15 = 10/15.

Naturally, the above is only my opinions and the data which I have
reviewed and charted from the IBD data. Readers are reminded the old
saving, "caveat emptor (buyer/reader beware)."

Gottfried,Intel is already a limited investor in Samsung Austin Semiconductor Inc., an Austin-based subsidiary of Samsung Group. Earlier this year the Santa Clara chip company registered in South Korea for the right to invest in Korean companies.

And if my recollection is correct AMAT provide the equipment for MU, Samsung and Intel. Wonder when they all will be purchasing the 300 wafer equipment.

Hi Gottfried;

"Eugene, has there been any discussion of the Intel purchase of
MU shares? This may mean Micron can buy new equipment sooner."

Yes. I am sure it means that is more likely and will certainly happen sooner than it would have. Since this is a major event, no one has talked about it except to discuss rambus and this implementation of their business plan.

I would be really bullish except for the huge run we just had.

That really was a good psft summary. It's really developed into a high risk, high reward deal. Another q or two of holding growth rates and gaining market share, and it will take off. If not....
