DCF, Your version is just another classic example of the constant editing that the bible goes through just to make it more palatable. Look at the original version of this verse and you will see what I mean. DCF, why is this book which has such purported valuable impact on humans, the most revised and edited book in history. Tell me of any other book that has had so many flaws in it requiring it to be reinterpreted for intellectual application. Why was the original version correct since it applied to some many people of its era, and now it has to be reinterpreted. Why is it correct now, but wrong then? You know the answer as will as I..... You couldn't defend the original version, so just reinterpret.
